[QUOTE=Mr. Cinema;2052847]The Wolf Man remake hits theaters on 11/6, which means the BD release will drop around March 2010. I can't think of a better time for Universal to release some classic monster titles to tie-in with that. What are the chances of that happening?

I think that will all have to do with whether The Wolf Man is a hit or another
Van Helsing.....

I'd say that release for the theatrical would be far more likely given the proximity to Halloween. If it were to happen that is

Since Stephen Sommers isn't directing this, I think this will be 100x better than Van Helsing, which was complete garbage.

Hopefully they'll finally release the American Werewolf in London BLU in conjunction.

Been waiting to see that new documentary that was done for ages.

Amazing Grace is an interesting TV series. However, with the story being set in Oklahoma City, I really wish the crew would do a lot more filming in the OKC area. Most of the show is shot in Vancouver with some rural outdoor settings shot in places like California. There is a lot of different kinds of terrain in Oklahoma, but none of it looks like California or Canada.

I was referring to the movie about the man who worked toward ending slavery in Britain...

This film, right?

The official site lists "Bristol Bay", "Samuel Goldwyn", "Walden Media" as production companies, and I had to search a DVD review just to find out it was a Fox DVD release. Since it was Fox, it's kind of surprising that it's not out on BD.

Yeesh.

I'm actually laughing about this after browsing IMBD. I was actually thinking about the Saving Grace TV series. Two British movies called Amazing Grace were made in 2006 and 2007, with the previous one being the one intended about the "when is it coming on Blu-ray" question.

Five other movies or TV shows called Amazing Grace were made since 1990. Obviously it seems kind of silly to have anymore movies or TV shows Amazing Grace anytime soon. I'd give it about 20 years and then the remake cycle will bring up the title again.

Jeff:

Do you know why the excellent musical overture was deleted from Scott's "Kingdom of Heaven" Blu-Ray edition?

The intermission was also not on the Blu-ray. Good question.

I wish Fox would redo "KOH" with the overture and intermission, or is this wishful thinking. I just don't think the Blu-ray is complete in the current condition.

An extra or two might be nice, as well.

All right, heres a bit for the film freaks to help me out with. With the death of Michael Jackson I have been re-connecting with the music he left behind. hile searching YouTube for various performances it turns out tht someone has been able to upload the entire Captain EO short fil to the website in standard def, Hi-Def and 3D versions! Now it was my understanding that this movie had never been release on a home video format, and certainly not in a non 3D version. So just where could this video have come from?

Someone copied it out of the Disney archives years ago. It's been circulating the bootlegs for well over a decade. Are you sure it's actually an HD version? Youtube's definition of "HD" is rather shakey Is it red/blue? Because the Epcot "theatrical" version is polarized, and if they just ran the print it wouldn't do a lot of good

I did hear they thought about releasing it at some point, but all the child molestation stuff, and the general cheesy crappiness of Captain EO torpedoed it

When the ride ended, MTV actually ran it in full, 2-D of course, sometime in the mid to late 90's.

I have it on SuperVHS someplace.

I always thought it would make a cool DVD, now BD with a 2D version and a 3D version with 5.1 surround.
