well, that's not what I'm trying to say

What I'm saying is that it's not like it's Dolby Digital. Lossless tracks excel at capturing the high end of audio, something that Bambi doesn't exactly possess in spades Obviously it should be DTS HDMA

448kbps 640kbps Dolby Digital still have full frequency response to 20kHz, unlike 768kbps DTS which starts to filter the high frequencies above 15kHz...but every Disney title, espcially a Diamond Edition (with corresponding price premium) should be lossless: PCM, TrueHD, or DTS-MA.

Jeff, a couple of WB questions. Next year is the 20th anniversary of Unforgiven. Do you think we'll get a re-release with a new transfer and lossless audio? That was one of the first BDs and next year is a great opportunity to give it the proper treatment. Of course, Goodfellas also had a great opportunity for a re-do.

Most people probably aren't clamoring for this, but do you think WB will also finally release the theatrical cut of Troy? I prefer that version and am patiently waiting a release.

Probably not (with a movie contents redo) and no.

I wish they'd put out an accuracy cut, that doesn't make Paris into a pseudo hero at the end, and puts the gods in

Totally off topic

Just checked my hotel in Ikebokuro, and they do offer free internet via LAN in room. And I will be picking up my JR 7-day railpass at the Ikebokuro station too. So all in all, like you sir had suggested, we will be spending the first 3 days in Tokyo before heading down to Kyoto for 2 days. Possibly stopping by Nagoya for dinner on the way back to Tokyo. And one day visiting Yokohama, and the final day and a half back in Tokyo.

If you come across to any cool place for used BDs like I've mentioned before, please keep me updated.

Do they exchange in Ikebukuro? I've always done it at Narita or Shinjuku

Beaver Records in Kyoto. Go there. They have used BDs, as good as selection as I've seen anywhere (not much), but it's a freaking fantastic media shop. DVD selection is good, vinyl superb if you're into that. Get off at Kawaramachi station, walk up to the Namco arcade, and it's down either the first or second street going away from the Hankyu dept store on the left on the 2nd floor of a building

Yes, they do along with several other locations in Tokyo. I will need to check if they do exchange it at the Kaneda airport though (we will be flying in there this time instead of Narita). If not, then I will exchange it when I get to Ikebokuro.

This is the street it's down. It's not too far down, there's a big entrance and a decent sign

It's a prominent store, worse comes to worse people in the area will know where it is. I think that actually is a lingerie store Could have changed in the last 2 years tho. There used to be a Mr Donut and now it's a sock store (could have changed again)

Your directions are very clear and I should have NO trouble finding the store. I should worry about finding the time to go there instead of finding the store instead.

There's a giant department store at Kawaramachi station, in fact they own the train (Hankyu). You should have no trouble convincing the wife

That's an excellent sales pitch. In fact, I did kind of hinted to the wife that it is ok to shop if she feels like it, and she doesn't have to "worry" about me feeling bored; I will find things that interest me.

They outlawed them a few years ago

Fortunately my gag gift giving hasn't had to take a sharp new turn. They now have bras and panties specifically designed for men
