Now that there isnt a new movie coming after part 7. I do have a feeling that Warner will find some way to make another Harry Potter film. |

Oh WB wants to keep making HP films for a long time
Last i heard they want to do a prequel trilogy about the original rise and fall of Voldemort that Rowling will at least plot. By the time they finish that, I'm sure Daniel Radcliffe will be up for a Harry Potter: Auror movie ![]() |

Btw Jeff,
Since we are both big Assassins Creed fans it appears that Ubisoft is putting out ANOTHER Ezio based game that is not ACIII!! http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/05/as...emb/#continued Is Ubisoft trying to turn AC into a Call of Duty sequel every year type franchise? |

Now, when they do AC3 in 2012 I only hope it's a descendent of Desmond in Colonial/Revolutionary 18th Century Americas/UK. Lots and lots of "secret society" stuff to hang a story on from that era. Think National Treasure, only AC quality. |

It seemed like Ezio's story was pretty well wrapped up at the end of Brotherhood. Somehow he manages to lose the apple AGAIN?

Either way Assassins Creed has become one of the best series for this generation of consoles. I see no reason why this wont be a Day One purchase for me. I CAN however see Ubisoft pushing this game back since November is pretty darn crowed. Although September is the biggest month of gaming this year in probably forever with Rage, Resistance 3 and Gears of War 3
It ranks right up there with the Mass Effects and Uncharteds as being top gaming products with a great story and great gameplay to back it up. |

If you place some of the action in the UK, and then some of the action in Philadelphia, NY and Boston it could work, IMO. You don't have to stay in one city. AC2 covers a couple decades, after all.

Yeah, but that increases your budget. Those cities have very different looks and architecture. Colonial architecture is also boring

Look at this current schedule: Sep. - Rage, Resistance 3, Gears of War 3 Oct. - Batman Arkham City, Battlefield 3? Nov. - Uncharted 3, Skyrim, New Call of Duty (not announced, but you KNOW its inevitable) I probably left something off that list, too! Looking at that schedule, October is really the only month that leaves some breathing room. Tragically Mass Effect 3 was the game that ended up being pushed back to 2012. I just hope the Mass Effect 3 delay isn't to dumb it down. But when comments are made like this: “One of the things that Ray Muzyuka and the team up in Edmonton have done is essentially step-by-step adjust the gameplay mechanics and some of the features that you’ll see at E3 to put this in a genre equivalent to shooter-meets-RPG and essentially address a much larger market opportunity than Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 began to approach. We’re huge believers in the IP and are purposefully shifting it to address a larger market opportunity.” I also hope they don't shoehorn multiplayer into the game. We'll see what happens. |

The problem with those Boston locations is that while those are great and important buildings, they AREN'T great for an Assassin's Creed game. Think about all the epic locations and architecture in the last 3, and compare it to those. Not that great.
Plus Ubisoft is French. French Revolution for sure. I could potentially see an AC game set in NYC in the 1920s, but nothing really in America before at least the late 1800s |
