With all of the movie the first pic made, they can afford the new suit. This movie should be good.

I think he's wearing the top half. The metal strips are either part of the actual costume (never meant to actually be seen.) Or maybe a new under-suit, besides the black tights he would have on before suit assembly.

Yeah, seriously!

Those bands must not really be part of anything that is to be seen in the movie, just like the life jacket-esque plastic buckle around his abdomen.

The close ups are probably all their filming. They're probably points of reference for ILM. They'll probably add in the suit if there's any wide shots (probably wouldn't be feasible to wear the suit up there where he's at)

Leave it to Favreau and RDJ to keep getting it right. It could have been a cliche pic with some rocks in the background but instead- Kicking back in a huge donut looking all slick.

a hell of a lot

doesn't the special features on the blu-ray say he could only wear the suit for a certain amount of time or something in the first movies filming because it was so freakin heavy? (that or he could only wear half most of the time cause it was so heavy)

I didn't watch the special features. There is too many lol. I did however watch the deleted scenes.

Well, since it's now modified I think they might have made it heavier which explains why he's sitting down.
