There are Blu-Ray covers that have nudity like Emmanuelle so yeah with spoiler tags I don't see the problem with nudity or violence. But this site can be confusing at times. Won't allow Girls Gone Wild listings but does have stuff like Bikini Destinations. And stuff like 9 Songs has worse sexual content than tame stuff like that. So who knows what is allowed even in spoiler tags officially. I just avoid it to be safe. Plus most image hosts delete nudity anyway. Hell some of my *****slap screens were removed from wherever I had hosted those and didn't even have nudity.
I usually put mine in spoiler tags anyway to prevent scrolling since that is more annoying to me than nudity or violence ![]() |

I also dislike the American puritan explanation I hear alot...maybe if we joined the rest of the civilized world and censored the hell out of blood and gore like Europe, do massive violent game bannings like in Australia or censor pornography like Japan, we would be on the right track? |

There are only three reasons to watch Uwe Boll's BloodRayne on BD:
1. Like me, you enjoy making fun of bad movies. 2. You like the occasionally rather good cinematography. 3. You want to see the outrageous gore or the stars - probably Kristanna Loken and Michelle Rodriguez - in stunning HD. If it's #1, then the movie is just as bad on DVD. In fact, there's more to make fun of on the DVD since it's got the director's cut, whereas the BD only offers the theatrical version. If it's #2, the BD (like the DVD before it) offers only a 16:9 crop from the original 2.40:1 film as it was shown in theatres, compromising the composition. And if it's #3, too bad, because the Blu-ray image is a blurry mess of DNR, posturization, noise, and banding. BloodRayne is presented in VC-1 1080p. The video stream takes up just over 11 GB of the 25 GB disc and runs at an average bitrate of 16.8 Mbps. Here are some screen captures, direct from the BD in uncompressed 1920x1080 PNG format: [Show spoiler]

BloodRayne 2: Deliverance (variously written with or without the number) fares even worse than the original. Shot on cheap HD video with 2/5 of the original's budget, it was also subject to post-production grain application to give it an "old west" feel. This devolves into horrid, image-destroying noise on the BD.
Even the movie is worse; a slow, uneventful bore. Rayne has been recast as Natassia Malthe, who gives a terrible performance and can't even be trusted to hold the character's signature swords right-side-up (see shot #12). Child actor/better movie trivia: Zack Ward, who played the bully Farkus in A Christmas Story, and Jodelle Ferland, who played the dual role of Sharon & Alessa in fellow video game movie Silent Hill, both appear in this film. Zack plays lead villain Billy the Kid (as a vampire, of course) and is seen in shots 6 and 9. Jodelle plays one of the children Billy abducts and is shown in shot 7. The VC-1, 1080p video runs at 16.5 Mbps average, even lower than the first film. At least the OAR of 16:9 is maintained, but since it's HD standard anyway that's not terribly impressive. 20 uncompressed PNG captures direct from the disc: [Show spoiler]

BloodRayne: The Third Reich (aka BloodRayne 3: The Blood Reich) is mercifully short, doesn't take itself as seriously as the first two, and is faster-paced and more fun than BloodRayne 2 by leaps and bounds. That's not to say it's a good movie - it isn't - but it's decent fun.
Natassia Malthe returns from part 2 as Rayne and gives a noticeably improved, but still bad, performance. The action is more frequent and better-staged than the previous entry. Unlike the German BD releases of the first two, this Blu-ray contains the unrated Director's Cut of the film. The video is also infinitely better. An AVC encode at 17.5 Mbps on average, The Third Reich is sharp, detailed, and pleasant to look at. The bitrate could still use a boost as there is some artifacting in action scenes, but nothing too bad. The movie even opens with a clip from the first film, presented with clarity that blows the original BD away and is even shown in the OAR. The main film is also presented in its 2.40:1 OAR. 20 uncompressed PNG captures: [Show spoiler]

Category 7: The End of the World is a fun, cheesy TV miniseries ripoff of The Day After Tomorrow. The contrived, multithreaded plot and subpar effects lend it a certain charm missing from the big-budget Roland Emmerich version.
The video transfer is a 1080p MPEG-2 encode at an average of just 13.5 Mbps - to be expected from a 3-hour feature stuffed onto a BD-25. It basically looks like broadcast HD, with a slight improvement if any at all. Although the disc is progressive, some footage is clearly from an interlaced source - see capture #1. This is the exception and not the norm, however. It's always more than clear enough to pick out the failings in the effects - my favorite is the fact that they use the same twister in shots 2, 10, and 11 (though it's mirrored in 11). 20 PNG captures: [Show spoiler]
