Blu-ray Movie Title: The Counterfeiters

Overall Picture Quality Rating: Fair 2.75/5

The Counterfeiters was a fairly good movie as far as story and characterization, but the image quality varies greatly. At best, it is rather drab and only slightly detailed with some fine grain (as shown in the above screenshots). At worst, it is heavily grained with very soft textures and washed out colors. I'm sure it's as good as it can get given the source and the director's intent, but it's probably in the bottom 25% for BD image quality and sound.

I know, I suck for the lack of quantity lately. I have been trying to lay off of shots lately, just because it is more enjoyable watching a film without them.

PQ : 3/5 , dark scenes somtimes looks like a downloaded dvd rip quality
AQ : 3/5 , not bad 640kbps 5.1 fits this movie since most of it is dialogs
