Blu-ray Movie Title: Transporter 2

Overall Picture Quality Rating: Fair 2.75/5

Note: Okay, I'm officially baffled here. Most reviews have this movie around 4.5/5 in picture quality (which is in the same league at 10,00 BC; Harry Potter; National Treasure 2; Planet Earth). Some used words such as "spectacular", "stunning", or "beautiful". It's not even close. Hot whites and over-saturated yellow tones mar this transfer. While close-ups show fair detail, images become softer with distance which reduces depth considerably. Black levels are average or below. Overall, pretty poor visuals, IMO. Out of the 120 or so high definition movies I have viewed, I'd put this in the bottom third.

There are obviously software programs that allow you to take screenshots off BD drives. I don't know what they are since I just take photographs. I think discussion of screenshots off BD drives here on this forum is deemed "inappropriate", so you'll need to find that information on your own. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Are you saying it takes a day to take the screenshot or to get the programs? Just curious

it takes a day (let's say 13hrs with my hardware) to merge the audio + video files in one mp4 file if you put the bitrate to 9000kb in 720p res, from that file you get the screenshots
