and I have to add to the tweaktv comment, when I first got my display, I tried the tweaktv recommendation, and was not happy at all with the settings. After careful calibration done by myself and the AVIA disc, my settings were not even close to what was posted for my display on tweaktv.

As stated, use it for a starting ground, but I would recommend getting a calibration disc and doing the settings yourself. Only go the route of an ISF calibration if your in your home for quite awhile, and you won't be changing the position of your tv for many years. 300 dollars is alot to pay if your say renting temporarily.

+1

I trust my eyes using suitable guides (DVE for me), not what someone else's settings are for my TV in my house.

Default your right

those Pro setting always look like crap, anytime you combine movie mode and warm 2 ect.. you get a picture that looks like mud! I did the settings they told me on my Samsung and the first thing I notice was on a iphone commercial the whites looked dull and yellowish, well, anybody who has a iphone knows the whites are bright and not yellow so those settings are not true to life at all! Most of the time your best picture is Standard, lowered brightness and back light, all motion crap turned off and sharpness near or at 0. Now you have my pro settings, $300 please!
