Here in the U.K., satellite dominates sport, especially footy (soccer). It’s the only option for lovers of the game. Where that’s changing in the U.S, here it’s still the way, so for those people, streaming is an add-on rather than replacement.

I ordered it from Italy, with Aliens and True Lies from the UK, but when the UK release date disappeared and the preorder price dropped for all three at Amazon US I thought I'd get them all from there (tho the prospect of scratched discs and stacker cases remain), and for only £7 more than the other three are costing altogether. Still kept that Italian order for The Abuse tho, just in case the US discs get wrecked by The Guys in Guadalajara.

I used to live in Guadalajara yonks ago for a couple of years.

I know plenty of things have changed since I was last there, it was one of Mexico's largest metropolitan areas even then, but I do find it interesting that it became a place for disc replication.

It is not exactly 'close' to the coast but guess it is cheap enough to justify having them do that work and ship from there.

With regards to the French or German releases on 4K, will the menu screens be in French, German or English?

Any reviews yet from any DVD/Blu-ray sites?

I think by now these sites would start posting reviews since the disc will be coming out very soon.

At startup you must choose a language before you're able to continue and English is always an option as far as I know.

Are the discs and encodes likely to be the same regardless of region?

I hope I am wrong but I am sensing a possible supplier delay with True Lies, The Abyss and Aliens could be a thing soon. Usually people on eBay get copies early and sell them before release date not one up now of any of these with only nine days to go now.

You aren't wrong. very well could be a slight delay. Usually a local etailer/retailer has Disney product approx 14 days of street but these haven't shipped to them yet from their supplier which is the biggest distributor in North America - Alliance Entertainment. Wish and Poor Things both March 12 titles from Disney/FOX are already available but none of the Cameron 4Ks. Strangely the WB titles Colour Purple and Aquaman didn't ship either and WB (SDS) is also fairly consistent. Anyone But You made it in today as well from Sony.

So unless they just arrived at Alliance today (Friday) then they might not have shipped out yet, since they certaintly weren't available to ship when my guy placed his order on Thursday..

Encodes I imagine will be the same but I suspect the euro disc will have different language options to the US disc unless they master a single disc for use worldwide.

Not likely given how long the movie is + branching, there'll be a few different language combos I reckon.

It's a bit late to suddenly announce a delay. Imagine the bedlam on Monday if they declare a four-week delay....

Copies of this should already be in the wind with only 10 days out. Hmmm

DMC is still listing this as 3/12 release date. Let's see if "reviewers" (kek) get any this week.
