Got it! What’s crazy is I only ordered it from Wal-Mart because I was already ordering the Wonka steelbook. Both have come on time or early. Who knew Wal-Mart was better at shipping movies than the competition?

Ordered mine from walmart ( along with Aliens )... not sure of their exchange policy regarding open discs etc,,,

Don't want to just turn it into a "shipping update" thread, but for those curious about their Amazon orders, I pre-ordered on 2/9, got a notice a day or two ago that the arrival date shifted from 3/12 to 3/19, but then this morning I was charged and just moments ago I got a shipping notice with a projected delivery date of tomorrow, 3/13.

So some folks might be getting shipping notices over the next few hours/day.

It's aggravating as hell, but I've seen this on both 4K and 2K Blu-ray Discs. Anytime you have something like this that's mass produced in replicators, you're bound to see manufacturing defects. If the error repeatedly occurs at the same time stamp and on multiple players, it's a defective disc. The only solution is to replace it. Any reputable retailer should exchange it without question - no different than any other defective product.

I don't know what is happening with Amazon US. First they split my order in 3 parts. One BR was shipped one month ago, that arrived completely destroyed. I returned it right away. They could not send a replacement. So I was forced to place another order. That by the way arrived a bit bent at the spine. (I complained about the packaging on the original order but they sent the second order exactly the same way) idiots they don't care to protect their orders. Zero points on customer satisfaction.
Yesterday my credit card was charged for Ferrari BR that shipped today. The Abyss the last of the tree BR is scheduled to arrive the 3d of April. What is strange my credit card was charged today. On my iPhone it says preparing for shipment. On my computer it says nothing. Bravo Amazon their software is so crapy. Two different devices two different results.

The blu ray special edition doesn't have the same error as the uhd disc at that time stamp.
As well as the UHD theatrical Version, at the same place in the movie...

A disaster? Because people have no patience and have to wait a bit? it oversold due to demand and having one replication plant left isn't enough to handle it. It's literally the opposite of a disaster. If anything, it's great news, that a few discs (like these, and Oppenheimer, which people also claimed was a 'disaster') still sell enough to cause such delays.
