These Cameron films should do very well on their own so I'm not too concerned but there's an awful lot of people voicing disappointment on these forums alone. I never advocate for people to spend hard-earned money on movies they don't want but in this case I'm hoping people grab at least one of these just to pump the numbers and improve our chances for more stuff.
they have been the top presale orders for awhile now. If they're looking at these sales to decide if they'll release Fight Club on UHD, I hope it works

i dont mean to criticise the previous poster here and everyone has the right to like something but Fight Club is the most overrated film of all time - people still dont convince me otherwise - its trash and the people that rave about it cant even say why its so good other than it looks good ??
- but i agree disney has a lot of catalogue movies they could release in 4k - i would love the extended version of Alien 3, Armageddon(atmos would sound amazing on that one) entrapment and a few others - they seem to be the only studio not releasing catalogue titles anymore and yet they are happy to waste millions on marvel flop films and endless star wars spin-offs ..

anyone who subjectively thinks something like Alien3 or Armageddon are better films than Fight Club.. is kinda not worth discussing it with. Sorry.
I have zero need to explain why Fight Club is a masterful film, there's plenty of write ups, discussions, books, videos on that. Seek them out, or don't.
And please don't turn this thread into a flame war. I'm glad you enjoy those movies.

Still have not seen Fight Club oddly. I heard things about it and of course the big 'twist' but it never really appealed to me. Probably because Brad Pitt is in it and I'm not that keen on his films.

It's fun and twisted, and well acted, aside from being stylish as hell and looking great.

My subjective opinion about Fight Club is better than your subjective opinion about Fight Club!

the first rule about Fight Club is that you don't fight about Fight Club!

Fight Club is a beautiful snowflake of a film. It's a metal globe wrecking ball into the typical Starbucks Hollywood corporation. Coffee cups. The Pixies. Space monkey. Fight Club is the best I've been f'd since grade school. I am Jack's total, complete and utter devastation that these thoughts aren't a universal collective. By Bob's b!t€|-| tiddys, mark my words.

Wow, that's some sales numbers on The Abyss, but I agree it shouldn't be used as the only indicator for Disney to resume physical media releases since it was awol from the hobby for over 20 years.

Now, that #4 title on the total sales being Looney Tunes vol 2, now that's an indicator that there's still demand for vintage titles on phyiscal media that Disney should be looking at.

I read that and thought I was having a moment, you know, when nothing makes sense anymore. Like when you talk to a young person and they start using lingo you have no idea about lol

The best thing about Fight Club is that the studio charged people to see a movie about going against the establishment.

It makes utterly horrific and perfect sense after you've seen the movie.

It is worth your time to revisit and really try to understand it.

But avoid the clam chowder.
