"Aliens," by far, fairs the worst of the bunch and may be more similar to T2 than not.

Get ready for a lot of grumbling.
Have opinions changed again? as I thought the consensus was that True Lies was the worst followed by Aliens and that The Abyss was about on par with Titanic.

I saw The Abyss Remaster in the theater and took no issue with it. It's also on Hulu right now, I will be buying the UHD.

The kind of site where you aren't wearing your glasses, and you're blindfolded.
ZING!

Otherwise, Kaleidescape.

In general, The Abyss actually looks the best IMHO. Titanic is a close second. Then Aliens is a huge step down, and True Lies another big step down again. Just my own opinion, but I don’t know why people are so eager to “break the news” that The Abyss is some terrible disaster, or that all these Cameron releases look equally awful. It isn’t, and they don’t.

trollers that like to ***** and moan. They bring nothing to the table here. They won't listen or leave the thread. Now that they can't say it was never coming out after the long wait. From what I heard. People who saw the abyss screening enjoyed it very much. I know I did.

I know it’s finally actually being released, but I feel like I have collector’s PTSD with this title. It’s only 16 days away, and I still find myself not believing it’s actually happening.

I'm just waiting for them to postpone the US release and watch the forum go nuclear...

It would be funny if the machines that replicate/manufacture the discs refused to do so because they give A.I. a bad name.

I preordered the 4K Blu. The first Blu-ray (of any kind) that I've ordered in quite some time.

I got free shipping from Amazon by including a couple of other things that have been waiting in my cart. I cancelled Amazon Prime (after having it since it started) due to Amazon's IDIOTIC decision to start charging $2.99/mo to avoid ads. Dumb, dumb, dumb!

I cancelled Netflix when it got too expensive and I've lived without it for 3+ years. I'll manage to live without Prime.

I’ll do you one better. I haven’t had cable/live television in over a decade and don’t EVER miss it. Anything I care to see is at my fingertips via physical media or streamers. People look at me like I have four heads when I say I don’t have cable, but I seriously have zero use for it. I don’t care about sports at all; that’s the only reason I could see doing it.

I gave up on satellite/cable a long time ago. I just stream and physical media.
I don't miss it either.
