I don't have the sheet that came with my Marvels 4K from DMC, but I could swear it said that these movies ship tomorrow. Did anyone else see that?

Whether that turns out to be the case or not, time will tell. "Shipping" can be a relative term, it could just mean packaged and ready for shipping and then go out at a later date. |

I know it’s a slightly different thing here in the U.K., but our satellite tv is still going strong. Sky seem to be moving with the times and they have a really good system going. I recently upgraded to their latest (in terms of satellite tech)
Sky Q. The user interface is snappy, you have 4K options and the full HD is crisp, at least on the major channels. On demand and paid apps are incorporated, with the majors such as Netflix, Disney, Amazon, Apple and YouTube all present if one wants to pay for them. You can pretty much access all the major content from one place, (although free FAST channels are still only available on smart TVs and streaming devices rather than through Sky, but not a big deal to flick it over to the smart tv options. Sky have also recently incorporated their tech into a smart tv and a streaming pick, similar to Apple TV. I think satellite will be phased out in around ten years from now. A friend of mine owns the puck and says it works really well, with 4K available on certain channels and apps. They seem to have a hardcore base of around 9-10 million customers, which might not sound like much but there are only an estimated 28 million households in U.K., so it’s quite good coverage. Of course, one major factor is their domination of football (soccer) which they just renewed until 2028. So, to summarise, while streaming is very popular here, especially Netflix, Disney and Prime, satellite is holding its own at the very least. I am considering projecting it, and that’s a first for me as it’s normally exclusively for discs. |

I too currently feel like I couldn't do without Sky TV. I feel like there's always something on I'd like to watch and the hard disk is recording things all the time. I guess switching over to NOW is a secondary option for many now, though.

I haven't had cable in 17 years. I have my discs and me and my family share all the streaming. I pay for Paramount+ and Hulu, my Pops does Amazon and Disney+ and my Uncle does the Netflix and I have antennas for all my TVs so I can at least watch local news/channels.
