Acknowledging it only encourages it. The "ignore user" option helps.

BTW Amazon just shipped my copy. I reserved it on 29 January, for those that want to gauge if it's sending orders out in the order they were, uh, ordered.

For those that ordered The Abyss or any of the other Cameron releases from Disney Movie Club, how were the prices? Do you get significant discounts for being a member of Disney Movie Club?

He's deaf to feedback (or reason).

I ordered from Amazon and it looks like The Abyss has been delayed along with Aliens 4K, I was hoping to see them this coming weekend.

DMC is closing in a couple months, so they are not taking any new memberships.

I think it's time to give up on amazon for preorders... I pre-ordered this the first day it was available and now it's delayed. It seems they do not give priority to those who order early.

I know and I wish. This would definitely be an instance where I'd run into Best Buy grab what I needed and got out. They had to go make it all difficult lol

Guess you miss that they have sold nearly 10k copies of each in the last month so not sure what you expect? I just ordered my copies today and I’m fine with waiting since I understand it’s going be awhile with as many copies they have sold.

While I’m of course not against their posting this information, OTOH, it kind of stands to reason that you’re not going to rate 1080p and 4K on the same exact scale. 4K is four times the resolution, so what…do Blu-ray’s then max out at 1.25/5? And yeah, I know that’s not a perfect analogy of what people would have to think, and that’s it’s not all just about pixels, but…people COULD use their brains a little, too…

But he said he ordered it the 1st day it was available. I'd be questioning it too.

Don't forget that after 4k landed, you would have to take all previous 2k Blu reviews and compress them down to that 0-1.25 range for the upcoming reviews to make sense.

Depends on if he is prime member because they had for release date delivery a few months ago.

Yeah I ordered probably in the first hour or two after it was posted on amazon. I'm used to it by now... I'm pretty sure they just use a RNG or a dartboard to see who gets a copy.

DMC isn't coming through, sadly. I might have to hunt these down tomorrow. I should have ordered through Walmart or Target.

I pre-ordered from Amazon immediately when it became available with release day delivery. Just got a delayed e-mail with 3/16 delivery.

Looks like people are being given all different dates. Not a lot we can do unless you can find it locally somewhere. We've waited for months already, another week won't be that bad.
It could be worse. I saw (not sure it's confirmed or not) that the UK is having their release delayed because of the rat underwater scene. Something with animal cruelty groups even though the rat was not harmed as I understand. I had to look to make sure it wasn't April fools day....

I think it was outright canceled, not delayed. The rat wasn't even harmed, so it's rather bizarre...

It also makes me wonder if the UK has pest control.
