It may be a case of a regional warehouse getting them in and sending to buyers in that geographic area rather than when a person ordered the Disc.

I'm almost tempted to order a copy from Amazon just to see if it ships but it does say "We'll notify you when we have an estimated delivery date", which means fat chance lol. Look, we've waited what, two decades, what's another week or so. I'm actually glad this is happening. I always said these have the potential to revitalize physical media. All of these sellouts and difficulty finding copies is a good thing. Everyone just sit tight and wait your turn

Feelin' everyone's pain. Ordered through Amazon on January 30th and just got bumped to Sunday March 17th. A Sunday? Prime member here, maybe that's why? Who knows. Best of luck to all sitting patiently at various promises of delivery.

The Amazon USA import is not listed yet on Amazon UK and it's still TBC if it will be listed.
Also Amazon USA Global shop listings on Amazon UK only go live to order on or after USA release date.

I ordered direct from Amazon USA website as Amazon US global shop listings on Amazon UK is UK delivery address only so can't use.

All my Amazon USA website pre orders since over a year now have been shipped using UPS for a Republic of Ireland delivery address very fast delivery 2 days.

I also used Wow HD on some pre order releases to save on costs but delivery takes 2 to 3 weeks.

Thanks to Walmart’s fast free shipping I received “The Abyss” and “True Lies” 4K Blu-ray discs in the mail on 3-11-2024, which is one day before the official release date of 3-12-2024. It was shipped in a box by Walmart and instead of Walmart using media mail or USPS Ground Advantage for the new release, they instead shipped using Priority mail which is most likely why I got the two movies one day before release date.

However, the Aliens movie on 4K Blu-ray disc which is supposed to have an official release date of 3-12-2024 according to both Blu-ray.com and Amazon’s website, is showing on the Walmart website an official release date of 3-19-2024 after login in and not even shipped out yet. Maybe Walmart is getting their Aliens 4K Blu-ray release one week late. I see nothing online that mentions that the studio moved the release date of Aliens to 3-19-2024.

It could be worse. I saw (not sure it's confirmed or not) that the UK is having their release delayed because of the rat underwater scene. Something with animal cruelty groups even though the rat was not harmed as I understand. I had to look to make sure it wasn't April fools day....

There is a U.K. law that relates to perceived animal cruelty for entertainment purposes, this film fell foul of that law upon its original release and still holds true to this day so an uncut release was never on the cards.

weird because it's the 4K master downscaled to 1080p when I play it

For those of you waiting on DMC to ship, I just got the following from CS via live chat:

The shipper did have an issue with these titles getting them out to their suppliers, so we did get our order today and will be getting all the orders out tomorrow with expedited shipping for our members.
