Hard to say. I ordered on Metaluna, and there is no info for the delay. They expect to be able to send some orders as soon as they received the UHD (in general 2 days after the release date). But, I don't think they will receive a lot unfortunately. But, I will be patient. Happy to help a little shop to survive against the big one.

And why are 4K Blu-rays "fake"? Are you saying that because they mess with the video for a better picture? Just curious. |

Nearing the 24 hour mark for "label created" on my Diabolik order. There's a special place in hell for places that say your order is "shipped" when they really just mean they've got it ready to take to the post office, but who knows when they'll get around to it. SO frustrating.

Dumb question, but are these not gonna be sold at Walmart or stores like that? I went yesterday and nothing, and they're not listed on their website either.
My local Best Buy still actually sells DVDs and Blus, but dunno if they'll have them either. I didn't preorder them because I figured I could just pick them up in-store (I don't live in the most cinephile area, so wasn't too worried there'd be an influx of people grabbing them). |

For those of you who ordered from Atomic:
Owner@ Atomic Movie Store 8:39 AM (0 minutes ago) to me We are sorry for the delay in shipping your product out. We received notice from UPS today that the vehicle transporting our inventory has had a mechanical failure and our delivery of product has been moved to late evening of March 14. Customer orders with True Lies, The Abyss, and Aliens will now be packed when we receive Aliens on March 14 and will be at the post office for shipping Friday March 15. Not Atomic's fault but it does sound like something out of a sitcom lol. A highly anticipated product is interrupted because of a mechanical breakdown. News at 11 ![]() I knew I wasn't going to get my order this week so I ordered a copy of Aliens from Target because it said I will get it by Friday. I need to have at least one of these in-hand for the weekend and it may as well be Aliens. |

I think they really under estimated the demand for these, after all, all we keep hearing is physical media is dead. In any case I ended up going on the hunt after amazon droped the ball, ended up finding it at my local Walmart. There was some yahoo picking up a bunch of copies, he had at least 10 of each.

Did anyone notice that the panning can look weird? Look at tv screen at 1:05. It’s like the AI chopped it up weird in each frame

I got this message from Atomic Movie Store this morning....
"We received notice from UPS today that the vehicle transporting our inventory has had a mechanical failure and our delivery of product has been moved to late evening of March 14. Customer orders with Ture Lies, The Abyss, and Aliens will now be packed when we receive Aliens on March 14 and will be at the post office for shipping Friday March 15." This flick is truly star crossed hahaha! But, what's a few more days when we've been waiting years? |

Nothing has been said about anything like that. (yet? My copy is still en route) My knee-jerk thought is that your display is mucking up matching frames to refresh rate. Without more details, tough to say.

Just checked the Movies Anywhere version on a different tv and it’s there too.
Not a huge deal, just looks like it might be another kind of artifact from the processing |

I just checked my HDTV captures, both scope and open-matte, and that issue is there on the TV screen on those versions as well. It does look wonky, but whatever it is is obviously just part of the film or a glitch in how it was shot originally, not a byproduct of the AI. It’s weird, too, because at first I thought it was tracking noise from the video One Night was watching, but the whole edge of the monitor glitches every other frame. Anyway, though…always been there.
