Funniest thing I’ve read all day! For as “focused on the customer” as they say they are, I’ve never found them to be. I’ve has things lost by them that were shown as delivered to an Amazon Fresh Store, and the store lost it. Didn’t get anything more than a “sorry, too bad”. Not “we’ll replace it ASAP”. I couldn’t even get a refund for 2 days because it showed as delivered to the store. I had to go back to the store and tell them to enter in their system that they lost it. Shouldn’t have to make multiple trips to get a refund.

I was lucky enough to order it late afternoon from Walmart and will be delivered this Friday.

The SOURCE is originally lower than 2160p resolution. All three are upscales of the 2K Lowry restorations. I thought this was well understood by now?

Movies are frequently picked up & then dropped elsewhere; not a problem if we got 30 copies in, big problem if we only got two. Limited or catalog titles like this will almost never show up in the app.

Yesterday my credit card was charged for Ferrari BR that shipped today. The Abyss the last of the tree BR is scheduled to arrive the 3d of April. What is strange my credit card was charged today. On my iPhone it says preparing for shipment. On my computer it says nothing. Bravo Amazon their software is so crapy. Two different devices two different results.

Amazing update, the Abyss 4K BR that was scheduled to arrive the 3d of April, was shipped today via DPD but will take 10 days to arrive. I can not complain. Things are moving in the correct direction. We need a bit of patience.

Received my copy of this and *True Lies" today. The TL 4K disc was a floater with no visible damage, save for a fingerprint. "The Abyss" had the expected three circular scratches, but played fine when testing the SE from the 57 to 60 minute mark on my Series X and LG players.

I remember reading on one of the posts here that True Lies was an upscale but The Abyss was true 4K, hence why True Lies looks worse as the AI processing isn’t as friendly to a 2K source.

Do you mean The Abuse here? Interesting if so. I'm guessing, then, that for something which was natively multichannel eg Avatar he needed to create the 2.0 from scratch, but for something like The Abuse it would have a perfickly suitable 2.0 mix already. It'd be AWESOME if the 2.0 on Aliens was the OG too. Thanks!

I just checked my copy and no issues either. I did notice that they stacked the 4K disc on top of the bonus features one. They did the same kind of stacking with the GoT Complete Collection and that first disc skips on me every time. I definitely recommend people swap that 4K disc to a ring on its own when you get this.

Thats' the first thing i did.( 4k having is own ring)... still didnt help lol..
Walmart.com was good enough to refund my payment for The Abyss, and i had already ordered another copy from Target with a ETA of Friday !

It's still a terrible system and I've always felt that. Not every disc walks around the store like that. It's ridiculous to tell customers on the site they don't have any copies in their local store when they do. If it can't be found when they come in, well that's no different than any other store that says they have some in stock but they're sold out once you arrive. It would still save many people a lot of effort if they could just take a run to the store to grab it when there is in fact stock, as opposed to being told "no" and then have to hunt all over town or online. For many titles, 2 or 3 in stock means there will still be a copy when they come in.
