I will add, watched the TC yesterday, plus the aforementioned "glitch section" on the SE.
Played with no problems.

Just received my copy from Amazon. I thought it was supposed to have reversible covers?

Also, if you purchased the 4K digital copy on Vudu months ago, should you still redeem the code in the case on Movies Anywhere?

No, you'll burn the code for nothing, because you already own exactly what the code would redeem.

My Camerons got picked up by USPS after buying them from DMC on Tuesday. I did priority shipping and i think i got a good deal on them ($53 for all 3 before shipping and tax). Should hopefully be here by Saturday! Praying I have no scratched discs!

He carries the entire film with an ace of spades. ...Cleanly and well defined. ...One of the better actors to grace our screens.

In my previous feedback I forgot to mention that I had zero issue with freezing and pixelization or mosaic. I've watched the longer Special Edition Version (4K).
_____

[Show spoiler]@ the end of the movie when the ships are lifted by the alien's "Atlantis" you can see a big ship propeller moving by the wind like paper. I've never noticed that before.

There are other shots that are so clear now with this process transfer that it reveals the flaws made @ the time of shooting. It goes without saying that it takes you out of the movie in disbelief. There's no more hiding, the magic lost its lustre a bit.
That's the price we pay to get this new 4K Blu. It's a fair trade ... you will agree I'm 96% certain. ...Make that 100% versus the old 2000 DVD (24 years ago).

Some on here have not seen the movie. Spoiler-tag these details to avoid ruining the ride for others.

The CGI effects at the time was awesome. like the special effects in T2 was totally killer, how does it look for a viewer today?

That is insane! I got to use Silicon Graphics computers in the mid 90s. And the stuff we were doing do not hold up.

Most of the effects still look incredible. Some of the tidal wave stuff looks a little dodgy, mostly some of the blue screen of some beach goers, where you can see some lines around them. It’s not a great movie, it’s too generic and Close Encounters like, but it’s technically amazing, well acted and suspenseful.

I can’t believe I never noticed the one guy, pulling down another guy’s shorts, during the tidal wave beach scene before! You get full moon in the sun! LOL

It is a great movie, it will always be a great movie! (He said, . .too scared to understand how old he is, and how many years that has passed since last viewing it)

FWIW, Wal-Mart is showing the movie in-stock right now online. $27 instead of $24. We'll see how fast it actually arrives...
