i be do live video and frequency spectrum lab testing, so far this 4k has been all in vain , lol poor jim he had to finger and tinker around with it

theatrical version i can tell instantly the bass and all has been , um , " watered down " lossless audio is a joke if not a scam , where's the theatrical mix james cameron ? i don't want a soundbar version lol seriously the dvd sounds better

okay , end credits shorter same to the theatrical but that doesn't cut any slack here

the 4k image looks gimmicky
end credits don't have the some video artifacts but , no i'm not getting a flashback with this 4k because james cameron and his video colouest have failed here , don't know where it was remixed at , maybe hint in one of those videos i been seeing where camearon is sat at mixing console

even the THX on end credits special edition , i noticed that at that screening last year in one of the videos where , what projectionist muted the sound and the house lights are up !
it can't say , " lucasfilm ltd THX sound system " it now just says THX , so even that has been altered , sigh so no flashback for that version

Laserdiscs just look bloody impressive, don't they? Size does matter gents. Also, cover art sure does look prettier. My Blu-ray amaray cases look puny and the artwork like thumbnail captures. All hail the videodisc!

My copy of The Abyss just shipped from WowHD but Aliens was delayed so I cancelled it.

Gonna be in the UK when True Lies comes out so I might just grab it there (don't feel like owning the bilingual Canadian edition lol). Aliens I might just grab at a later date, it comes out 2 days after my trip ends so unless a shop puts it out early I might just grab that one from Amazon UK.

As always, the "3FREE" code works for free shipping on any 3 items, and they ship in boxes.

I would say if you are still looking for some place to grab them from, I wouldn't bet on the availability afterwards (at least with Slips) since it's Disney.

EDIT: Orbit are now sold out of Aliens and The Abyss, but Atomic Movie Store now have all three releases in stock. Limited 1 each.

EDIT #2: And it looks like Atomic are now sold out of Aliens and The Abyss also.

Thanks for this, I went ahead and ordered from Orbit in case my Amazon order doesn't actually happen (still says "we'll let you know when we know a date.")
