I purchased THE FOG and PRINCE OF DARKNESS 4k UHDs from Amazon UK, shipped to the US.
I waited a few weeks, and when it arrived, both movies were gone. It was just the empty, flat cardboard box it was shipped in. Resealed by USPS.

I feel your pain.

"Expected by April 12." I thought I'd have it by now... but, I was young then and full of hope.

You wanna talk beards? Mine's longer than Gandalf. 3 years, baby. I'd shave when summer gets here, but I'm a little afraid to find out who's lurking underneath.

With Alec Holland as your avatar, I figure the beard is actually moss and flower vines... and you're afraid to confront what you really are underneath - human, or plant?

Is this, then, what it is to be a God? To know, and never do? To watch the world wind by and in its windings find content?

To need to shop at Walmart when Amazon cannot find its way?

I prefer going into a store rather than ordering online. I'm sad my son will never know the joy of going into a rogers video or blockbuster to look for movies and games.

Plus with the beard I get more gray on me, which reflects my actual age. But then I shave it off and my friends are like, "Pick a look already!" As far as the girlfriend, I don't really want one serious like because at my age even those fifteen plus years younger than I am are still kinda in the "looking to get married" phase. Not yet. Gimme my career, my football and hockey, my movies...my life.

Speaking of my life, I never mentioned "The Abyss" was shot in a huge water tank about 90 miles away from where I grew up. They never stopped talking about it on the news. Not to mention, right after that "Sleeping With The Enemy" (Julia Roberts) was shot a half an hour from where I went to college. A friend whom I shared a house with was actually from the area where "The Abyss" was shot (and even shared the last name of the town) and just missed out on the SWTE craze. It was something seeing all the people lining up just to be extras.

But as I watched "The Abyss" just a bit earlier, I realized something that bothered me more than most people would even think about: The dude wearing the Green Bay Packers jacket at the end. Yeah, their logo looked a lot like a local high school football team,
but now that my longtime favorite NFL team has been in the same conference as the Pack for a couple of decades now, this didn't really mess with me much when the film first came out. I'm not expecting anyone to really understand me here, but to me it's a big deal.
[Show spoiler] Kinda the same with "There's Something About Mary" and the Packers/49ers/Dolphins (Darius, I'm looking at you) angles.

As far as the transfer (hey, imagine me on topic for once) for this film, consider me more thankful than I am for the "Aliens" and "True Lies" jobs. I could enjoy the movie all the way through without spotting distractions, though it could still be better. So I'm through with the three Cameron releases now. What's next?
As a long-time cheesehead, you got my attention: With that conference having 3 teams playing each other since 1933 and the 4th one in the conference for more than 60 years... I'm curious what you mean by "a couple of decades now."

"Hey, Dad, let's go buy a movie."

"Great! Turn on the Roku stick!"

Uh, please no.

You mean the division, with the Packers, Bears, Lions, Vikings. I'm talking about the NFC and my Seahawks. Longer than a couple of decades now, but I refer to realignment way back when.

lol the stickers are such a clear FU to the people buying these movies. It’s been known since the late DVD days you don’t use stickers like that. Cameron very clearly despises his fans.

Dude, I got two stickers on my copy. The second one was obviously a white inventory sticker reading "New Item" placed in the upper left hand corner of the slip. I haven't tried to remove either of them yet.

If you leave the slipcovers in a warm car (not in direct sunlight), it may loosen the glue and let you pull them off without damaging.

I use hairdryers to heat up the stickers. Pulls off clean after a couple minutes.

I guess I'm one of the few who had no problems at all removing the stickers without damaging anything.

I will remove stickers all day. I will not, however, remove my facial hair. It feels too sexy. You straight boys need to leave yours on for me! I appreciate it.

Shame on you.
The one person I always think of who looks Godlike with a beard, but without it I'm like - ehhh, Hm. Ehhh *shrug* - is Ryan Hurst.

Hubba Bubba.

I have somewhat of a “gentle” looking face, and my wife hates how I look if I shave or trim facial hair too low.

I leave it a little longer for her. I’m not crazy about how it looks on me though as I can’t grow a full, thick, manly looking beard ha.
