Absolutely unbelievable that I’ve never noticed that in all these years of watching the film.

YouTube: “The Abyss” (1989) scene, with a glaring distraction

Warning: don’t watch that unless you want to see a goof that you will see forever and always every time you watch the film now.
He leaves that, but paints out Robert's balls for T2. Priorities.

That's ad verbatim from the VHS cover. Clearly it's what Fox thought would shift copies at the time.

Finally received my copy from Amazon (US). Pristine condition, no scratches (even though they stacked the UHD on top of the bonus disc). Phew. This brought back nightmares from when I had to exchange one of the Star Wars UHDs several times before I got a fully playable copy. Those damn stacking cases.

That's impossible. James Cameron looked at every pixel of every frame to make sure it was just right.

Not their most biting of satire, but Spitting Image was prone to being juvenile on more than the odd occasion...

On second thought, JC certainly wanted T2 to be a "balls-out" experience for the viewer!

Actually watching the new transfer for the first time.

It's... quite distracting (in motion).

Try the slow-motion feature in your 4K Blu-ray player ...

Putting the disc in the garbage bin would improve things

Happily the replacement disc is playing perfect. It was a great looking and great sounding movie in 4k before but now it’s all that and it doesn’t fragment, skip and lose soundtrack sync-up in spots.

Progress established. Plus no sticker on the front of the slip-case, omg wtf happened?

Can't contain myself for how funny that was.

Anyway, have just finished it confirm that it was quite messy and distracting.

Not a fan of the transfer. Movie's great as always, though.
