now I'm VERY curious with how his other 4Ks will turn out and I guess this confirms Terminator 2 was a SC f-ck up and not a Cameron f-ck up

Some people have been having issues finding a local theatre that is playing the movie. some places they have not listed it yet. like say Sacramento.
I am here to try and help people find a proper theatre nearby.

I appreciate what he's trying to do (raise awareness and inform). This is a pretty big deal but it's still a one-night only thing. I want to go see it but not at 6 PM on a Wednesday. I work until 5:30 and can't get out earlier. I guess they're mostly targeting retirees, trust fund hipsters and the unemployed.

To normalize the topic, there's also another Reddit rumor from early remastered screenings and those working on the master that the "Rat Liquid" scene had modifications.

The original scene had a real rat (6 of them in fact) in a tank with oxygenated breathing fluid https://filmschoolrejects.com/the-ab...eathing-fluid/ and for the 4k remasters of both versions, was supposedly redone with a CGI rat and tank being recomped with CG (and looking more cartoony and exaugurated as the result).

I can think of why this scene was altered. The scene in question caused problems in the UK (due to the animal cruelty laws) and was mostly cut and reframed in various versions. Its likely they did this change to get around making a separate censored version for the UK like in the past.
