I remember reading on some magazine (remember those?) about Cameron prepping for Battle Angel Alita (the original title before it got reversed). In those days I thought of Cameron as a living God so naturally I was excited. A lot of time passed between those magazine articles and Rodriguez's film release so I stopped caring enough about it to worry and RR did turn out a good film but can you imagine a JC version?

BTW, 'Alita' is Spanish for 'little chicken wing' lol. At least in certain Spanish-speaking countries

Region coding is not a problem for me (does it even factor in much with 4K UHD?), that's not really what my post is about. I'd just like to know if it's getting a UK release so I don't have to import.

I'm not a big fan of the Beatles, so if a movie had been made with them as the hobbits, I'd have skipped it. As for Cameron's take on Spider-Man, the main element that survived into Raimi's first film was Peter having biological webbing instead of the artificial variety, like in the comics.

We have pre orders for True Lies and Aliens but not The Abyss. Might be due to the rat scene as the UK still has an issue with it? (Thats the theory I believe)

The rule used to be that you could own it but not distribute it. ie sell it or give it away. Not sure if that has changed.
