No, because the movie was finished out to 4K to begin with and the 4K HDR master was approved by Scorsese.

I'll be keeping the Paramount, if I could only play HDR10 then the Arrow would be the winner as the Par's base layer is a bit blotchy, but with the Dobly FEL folded in the difference is much closer. Arrow still betterer, but not by much.

Interesting. I didn't realize the 4K re-release of Shaun of the Dead had a newer restoration. It looks even better than the earlier 4K UHD release. I guess this means there's a good chance Hot Fuzz will get a new director supervised 4K too (and that needed it more than Shaun of the Dead did, which already looks significantly improved).
