I'd love to hear that guy giving us a commentary and observations of his experiences hooking up his new player. Still pictures and easy listening piano music aren't what I'm looking for.
It contains many of the thumbnails from the AVS Forum thread. if you want a blow by blow, the link to the thread was posted already.

The last image on the video shows an issue with VUDU since they do not have the Samsung UHD player in their device list yet.

Not conclusive since the noise level might be different with a UHD BR.
Thanks for asking. What about the disc-drive it self? Any annoying buzzing, low frequent noise sound etc?

I didn't ask. I'm not a member of the AVS Forum. He just responded to someone else on the forum. So far, that has been his only response to the question. To bad he doesn't have a UHD display yet. He has an 2016 LG OLED on order. Hopefully, someone with a UHD display will start posting soon.

Default Samsung debuts world's first ultra-high definition Blu-ray player

I wonder if they'd prep it for shipping sooner if I switched it to one day shipping and then back to free shipping?

They had one at frys in Renton wa. I'm about to check out and bring it home. However I too, am without a 4K tv. It arrives on Monday, had to wait on a square trade replacement.

I may have lied. I have the following tv. I think it might actually play at 4K

Default It's funny that so far the ones I've read who have bought the player

Don't yet have 4K TVs lol. Wouldn't matter if they did though because there are no 4K blu Rays yet available to play....

I really hope titles start shipping before March 1.

Mine is set for store pickup at BestBuy. Although it still says it should be available on the 10th. Although I also have one on order at Sparco too since it was over 20% cheaper for me than Amazon or BestBuy. But I don't want to cancel my BestBuy order in case there are any issues with my Sparco order.

The person that popsted the video is not the person that took the pictures of the Sammy UHD BD player. The person that posted the video got the pictures from posts at AVS.

BTW, you can preorder the Lionsgate and Sony titles cheaper through Amazon.ca. I ordered 5 of them for $97 shipped. May as well take advantage of the favorable exchange rate.
Really!! $97 shipped for five after the exchange rate!!! Thanks for the Heads Up!!

I might need to cancel some of my pre-orders from BestBuy.

Yeah, I was surprised they were so cheap. I had to guess which ones to order though, because I expect to pay full price (well, $30 anyway) at Best Buy for a couple of discs, just to have some movies till the Fox Connect and Amazon.ca orders show up. And I don't know which movies Best Buy will have in stock.

Isn't that video, just the chap's from AVforum's stills played over music (which sounds annoying enough to be from a Gran Turismo game)?

Are people that excited about YouTube views?
