A little stock note to add to the end of an old previous post with regards to the single most commonly used monitor for HDR grading of UHD Blu-rays, namely the BVM-X300 –

The change in display type should mitigate previous problems with burn-in and premature aging -> dimming.

Sony plans to keep a very modest amount of the X300’s in stock in order to fulfill trade-ins or replacements for those clients wishing to keep their X300’s despite the dimming and burn-in inevitability.

^ if some local folks missed that heads-up ^ which I gave hours before the F-18 flyovers, not to worry, as after the movie itself launches David J. or Scott G. should have published much better pics.
