![]() ![]() You just reminded me of another potential benefit to 4k movie-at-home consumers. Sap, why on earth would you want to “step back a few feet from your monitor”? Every serious home theater enthusiast I know of strives for the *immersive experience* at home!....that means either purchase the largest flat panel or front projection screen (imho, the Stewart FilmScreen SnoMatte 100 is the best) you can afford and/or move your chair(s), sofa, sectional a few feet closer to your display! Dude, you’re going in the wrong direction with your eyeballs! ![]() And the great thing about 4k is that it will allow you to position yourself closer to the display (for that more immersive experience) than you would without suffering the visual disadvantages of doing the same with some standard consumer 1080p displays. Embrace the closer viewing distance of 4k as an attribute or benefit, don’t belittle it. |
