Was able to grab the first one, but the free option disappeared on the rest of the collection just now. :/

I guess I’ll wait for the disc. I’m not convinced 4k streaming is as good

Dark of the Moon? No. It was mostly 35mm anamorphic converted to 3D with some native 3D capture. Fixed widescreen aspect throughout, I saw it on 15/70 dual-strip IMAX 3D so I should know.

You sure you're not thinking of TF4?

Probably is TF4.
Edit: It is. Just checked the Bluray cover.

Actually, he shot 70% of it in native 3D. The rest with 35mm and other digital 2D cameras, then converted.

The primary cameras were 2x Sony F35 in a Fusion Camera 3D rig.

You know, I just realized the Sony CineAlta F35 shoots only at 1080p resolution. Which means, it needed to upscale for the 2K DI/Finish. [emoji14]

Same with Avatar, that was shot in 1080p HD using F950 cameras with 2/3" sensors but it still got a 2K finish.

Which means the UHD Blu-ray is an upscale of an upscale. It's an upscalation!

Funny, I was up around 1 am, when I saw this, and stayed up almost 30 mins, but got hold of all 4.

Got these as well. It popped up on slickdeals's front page right before I was about to turn off my PC for the night. Too bad they aren't available yet in UHD on Vudu.

VUDU will likely add them when the 4K Blu-rays are released.

I am focusing on collecting 3D version now. Will get these in a box set containing all six UHD movie titles next time.

Really wish Part 2 was the big screen editions and part 3 and 4 were the varying aspect ratio versions. Sigh.
