Watched this now. Thanks for the recommendation! All done in 86 mins too! There's no need for movies to be marathons to be great movies.

It's December 1, and View Total as of a few minutes ago are 12,275,501 minus the Oct 31 count of 11,425,465 equals 850,036 for November. At 30 days, that's about 28,335 a day.

Thanks to everyone (members and guests) for stopping by, hope there was something of interest or education that you gleaned from the discussion. I'll stop by at year-end to recap this month. TTFN (ta-ta for now)!

Dune (Part 1) started again today on IMAX; should I go or should I stay?
I think I'm going back ... no time to die.

By the way, 'The Power of the Dog' ^ is on Netflix. This is no James Bond movie.

This film is not for the faint of heart or impatient movie watchers.
This is no 'Eternels' or 'Dune: Part One'.
You won't get the CGI effects in their full glory and assault of the senses with big bangs buzzing over your head.

Spoiler-izing the following for the sake of those who’ve yet to see it ^ .

[Show spoiler]Along that same ultimate consequence at the end of the movie, albeit after Cipro –

became available to treat (scientific aside, the wife informs me that zee next BIG thing could be the protease inhibitor Paxlovid for another bug- https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.abl4784),

this is a pretty good episodic that dropped recently on the Nat Geo cable channel (although not in HDR) and Hulu - https://www.nationalgeographic.com/t...s/the-hot-zone which we both enjoyed watching.
