I did not forget about that and in a fact it was always on my mind from the day one,
Starting next year we will start the Surround Records Big Band projects with the support of my friends in New York jazz community, Russia, Japan and eastern Europe using the same production practice we developed for Surround Records International Orchestra.
So, I promise as match 7.1 Jazz and Big Band fan on as you can handle.

One of my Music directors working in eastern Europe on our recordings for Surround Records Orchestra project discovered extraordinary gifted pianist Fillip Remensky who worked all his life as a music teacher in Poland and never get through to be on a big stage bringing people Joy of his performances.
Well, now in terms of our new production recording process we are able to bring his gift to the world.
Fillip Remensky will be featuring in our new "The New Dimension of Sound Series"
as a piano performer for all our titles.
Besides many other piano works he always dreamed to record bach well tempered clavier
and actually completing now the book 2 for our production,
having many Beethoven piano favorites already completed.
we are taking sound from inside steinway piano like we did with other recordings of Gershwin with sisters Mack
that I will be mixing 7.1 to be released in late November.

Talking more about our piano projects I cannot not to mention my conversations with the producers of Elton John surround recordings on the first Surround Music Conference in 2002, He mention to me that Elton John was always described multichannel sound like putting his head inside the grand piano. I never forgot about that and always worked it up for my piano recordings both Jazz and Classical.

Alexander

I purchased a Blu Ray copy of this disk from Amazon back in October of 2008. It has "Mussorgsky LO F1 DVD" and "2070-2316" and finally "IDEA/LM/CA" on the inner ring. It did not play on an older Sony Blu Ray player so I set it aside because of a heavy work schedule. Yesterday, I tried it again and found it would not play on my new LG BD-590 or an older LG BD-390, nor a new Sony BDP-S390, all with current firmware updates.

Then I started checking the Amazon Reviews on other Surround Records released as saw a large number of similar problems on most of the releases. Then I started searching for Surround Records and found you on this forum. I gather the Blu Ray pressing facility you used was having problems. Is your offer of a replacement still open?

With the dearth of SACD multichannel releases, I am looking for alternate sources of real surround sound sources.

Bill

Unfortunately Amazon can not inform all customer service agents about our replacement what was done back October that why old copies are still in circulation.

Thank you.

As fare as you posted this comment about "dearth of SACD"
I am not relate to this development as a marketing point for some particular technology to promote multichannel surround sound and that I do,
I always creating something new and exiting from new advantages in sound and its delivery to the media
and now it is Blu-ray and 7.1
and it is awesome!!!

plenty SACD recordings out and if people will want more whey will give you more
just dont stop asking

cheers

Actually I am worried about another more serious subject the majority of American teens and even mature audience not have exposure to classical music as people in eastern cultures and even Japan.
in this perspective i dedicate myself to use hi-tech in audio to promote best classical masterpieces of all time using my skills and experience as a recording engineer and producer with classical music background.
i will continue to go forward on this and attract some of my friends in technology and entertainment to help me

I have been a Multichannel SACD collector for many yeras. However, Sony makes it very expensive to license the process and, until this year, Sony stopped making new DVD players that will play SACD disks. The new Sony Blu Ray 3D players will playback SACD's via the LPCM stream on the HDMI output. It is much better than the analog multichannel output on older Sony DVD players. Now they need to release a 400+ disk Blu Ray/DVD/CD/SACD/3D megachanger!

only the problem now
that 7.1 dts-hd lossless recordings are superior then SACDs
so it is a little step back
not everybody like these changers
many just like an idea of having a shelf with titles to pick it up before the showing considering this as a part of the experience

Default Surround Records not in stock at Amazon

Alexander,

I have noticed that most all of the Surround Record titles are out of stock at Amazon and seem to be most of the time I go to the site.

Is more stock on the way? Is there another source for your music?

I really enjoy the few titles I have and would like to purchase more.

Thanks

Our new shipment is in warehouse right now in processing it can be "In Stock" again even today that is most likely
our titles sold out fast that is true.

but actually many great ones are still "In Stock" as of today:

Mahler 2
Strauss New Year in Vienna concert
Bach Orchestral Suites
Tchaikovsky piano 1&2
Shostakovich 5&9th
Wagner Overture
Beethoven 9
Rachmaninov piano 3rd with Aivazovsky slideshow
Leonardo Da Vinci Art with music by Vivaldi and Bach

My last Eletronic Project: "Lucid Dream" that is quite more in experimental music direction then my previous albums
E!
and Uncommon Bach

please enjoy, at least till tomorrow

But dont get me wrong
nothing is more effective for continuation of SACD but my 7.1 recordings
people needed to get something new and exiting to develop the idea of Lossless Multichannel Audio and that is our common goal and another hole meaning of my work.

however dont look at me as a some sound politic for hire
I am the Artist of Audio and stand behind everything I do as an Artwork of Music and Sound
and not as some market Stimulus product

have a great listening

Alexander.

Now you're talking. I've a lot of SACDs that I would love to be able to put into my BD megachangers so I can ditch the analog outputs. I hope you're reading this Sony.

one of my most complicated audio projects arrived
Mahler 9th

this was a very hard one to put together considering that I had over 48 tracks of audio recorded by sections like I mention in previous postings about Surround Records International Orchestra project

actually I was very proud at the moment for this invention of recording musicians without conductor and mix all parts and sections including individual soloists by myself later
but Mahler 9th put everything to the test like I never predicted.
Match could be spoked and written about this
I even had an idea about a dissertation for Juilliard Music Theory Faculty
moving the art of music production to the grade of conducting and composition.
but finally got the filling that it is all for people and not for critics and professors
my goal is to produce the Art of Sound and not paperwork.

Enjoy the Great Mahler 9th

Alexander.

the surround effect of these symphonies is match differ that I brought to other symphonic works of this series.
Instead of extended sound field underscoring dimensionality of listening experience i picture more chamber settings featuring echo expansion of
surround effect but rather an clarity of ambiance itself that in most cases match harder to achieve in terms of sound engineering point.
I done Mozart 40th final mix 3 times over last 4 months not being completely
happy with the acoustic effect after listening and reviewing in major studios and home theaters rooms.
but finally everything come together at final 4th attempt

please sample the new dimension of symphonic works by Mozart and my input as a producer and engineer of these recording
