I disagree, in the sense that they are the exact same ships

The crash we see in PROMETHEUS is clearly caused by the ship exploding while in flight, falling apart as seen in the leaked trailer. Debris all over the place. The derelict in ALIEN looks pretty much intact with no damages to the outer hull visible. Besides, the derelict in ALIEN rests in very rocky terrain with little accesability whereas the ship in PROMETHEUS seems to be crashing in plain terrain surrounded by hills.

So... my guess is that the space jockey ship in PROMETHEUS is a different ship than the one seen in ALIEN, although they are of the same design/class.

The trailer is going to be amazing in HD

not that it really matters, but it just hit me that there doesnt seem to be a single american in the cast. i wonder how many of them are gonna have to fake american accents.

Well, why would the characters have to be american? No need for american accents, I think. It's mostly set in space, so the characters can be from pretty much anywhere, right? Norway, the UK, South Africa, Australia... I think it's cool, because in any way, the characters will representing a planet, a civilization, not a nation.

Oh man, I can not wait for this. I hope the trailer can be found on Thursday outside of the Itunes trailer thing? Is the trailer going to proceed any recent theatrical release?

I really hope that when the day comes they do a theatrical run on some of the few IMAX 70mm installations left before the digital transition (destruction).

I'm pretty sure this is my third most anticipated film of next year behind TDKR and The Hobbit. The sheer scope of it has me so excited.

IMO Kingdom Of Heaven (theatrical) version was very bad and it bombed at the box office along with the critics. Ridley was kinda pissed as Fox wanted the movie to be short and again, IMO, Kingdom Of Heaven (Directors Cut) is one of the best movie he has ever directed after Alien, Blade Runner and Gladiator.

People also tend to forget that the Robin Hood which he directed is actually sort off a prequel to the Robin Hood legend. Im hoping for a fully fleshed out sequel.
