![]() The head definitely reminded me of Dark City. "Sleep now" ![]() Surprisingly I like Dark City and video games. How is that possible. No reason to remake it in my opinion. |

[Show spoiler] ![]() The question of the positioning of the Head in this poster was talked about a while back, but I always thought it looked like Colonel Kurtz from Apocolypse Now. With that said, and just speculation of course: [Show spoiler] [Show spoiler] The similarities are rather chilling!!! Last edited by groove93; 06-15-2012 at 08:11 PM. |

That wasn't my question. I was wondering how you came to the conclusion that inert containers filled with dangerous goo somehow become organisms. There has been nothing so far that connects the eggs to the black goo vases. Both are stored in the same manner (equal spacing in creepy rooms), but where are you getting the idea that one turns into the other?

For now, I'm also in the mindset where I've omitted James Cameron's involvement in the series, thus eliminating the Queen/Hive life cycle, and going with the "Kill One, Save One" method, which was the case with "Alien". |

![]() Really though, the jars can't turn into eggs. That's some George Lucas kinda storytelling that would wreck the sequel for me. No transforming jars and no Space Jesus, please. The eggs are eggs and the jars are jars. Kinda how we have nukes, napalm, and regular bombs. And now that we're on the subject of weapons, I think O'Bannon is rolling in his grave. He specifically wanted to avoid the "bullets can't stop them!" BS from the 1950/60's. Last edited by BouCoupDinkyDau; 06-15-2012 at 10:19 PM. |
