Thank you.

What about the one when David is roaming about the ship by himself. Would i find that on IMDB?

I just watched this again and I really liked it. Not as much as the first time through (maybe because it was only 2 days later).

One of the better sci-fi films. There better be a sequel or this movie will lack a bit of substance. This movie definitely felt written for a sequel.

It definitely seems like they left you with more questions than answers specifically to make a sequel. I think it will get greenlit but i do hope some of the story ties up more loose ends than this one seems to leave open. Any news on what an extended cut of this is meant to include?

That's the idea. Scott wanted a two-movie deal because the story was too big for one film, but he asked for a ton of money to do it and FOX said no.

It will all come down to BO takings in that case and determine whether he gets a sequel greenlit or not. I think he might very well get his sequel assuming it lives up to their projections but i have no idea what they may be atm.

I hope it gets green lit ASAP. Ridley isn't getting any younger.

Count me in one of the few which did not like the movie. It looked great in IMAX 3D but just didn't feel attached and kept waiting and waiting for something to happen but it never really did. It did definitely feel like it was written for a longer movie / story so maybe it will better as a whole.

Also I don't know if it was intended to be a big reveal
[Show spoiler]but the fact that it was a ship I thought was a given from the beginning considering how everything looked and just a general feeling

I also felt Charlize was heavily underused. I would have liked to see more of her.

We saw it a few days ago at a 3D IMAX and I loved it! Even my Fiance liked it.
I gave 4/5 in the poll.
Can't wait
[Show spoiler] for the sequel!

You just wanted to see the
[Show spoiler]footage of a Charlize sex scene with the pilot captain
, but then again I'm sure most people in here agree on that! lol!! Then again it was because of that one small event that led up to more chaos...another religious undertone...

Prometheus is nearing $120 million in the US; $285 million worldwide:

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=prometheus.htm

Not too shabby for an R-rated sci-fi film that seems to be polarizing critics/audiences everywhere.

I read his original budget plan was in the high 200s and Fox said only if its PG13 and Scott said Ill take the 120 and do R. If true, that is pretty cool for him to stick to his vision and not sell out to a higher budget.
