PG 13 or R, I'll watch either way. That is would be a interesting thing to do, release a PG13 and an R version simultaneously at the theaters. Even a G version, with cute and fuzzy Aliens.. they could do like an Angry Aliens kids game out of it.

Just saw this on avp galaxy site...

The upcoming trailer for Prometheus has been officially rated by the Alberta Film Classification today. The trailer has a run time of 1:03 and has been classified as 14A. According to their website, a 14A rating means:

“Suitable for viewing by persons 14 years of age or older. May contain violence, coarse language, and/or sexually suggestive scenes”.

Interesting the leaked trailer was 1:06 and this trailer is 1:03. So maybe that is the trailer will are going to get. Rumblings on some twitter boards are saying Dec. 12 possible release date for the trailer. I am not sure though I think we would have heard something if that was the case.

Dec. 12 would mean Mission: Impossible... or it could be a week before GWDT.

Of course with our luck-

the first 30 seconds of it will be the 20th century logo following by a blank screen, then some lead up words done to eerie music, and then we will get a few meager movie clips.

Yep, I also recall HBO at some point in time in the 80s or early 90s showing the PG version in the daytime, while airing the R version at night.

It is quite fascinating! The scene she talks about, reminds me of another female character from Alien, with a similar scene.
