I re-watched all of the Aliens movies these past 2 days and I thought Aliens 3 and 4 were awful.

That is until I saw Aliens vs. Predator and AVP Requiem. Aliens 3 and 4 look like masterpieces by comparison. AVP had at least some things going for it but Requiem is complete trash, it was essentially a teen slasher film and a bad one at that starring aliens and predators.

Thank god and Ridley Scott for coming back to the franchise

For my personal most anticipated, I'd rate it #2 behind TDKR and ahead of #3 Gambit and #4 Brave. Bring 'em on.

Giger's work on Prometheus will not be as extensive as it was in the previous movies given the original xenomorph will "absolutely not" appear. His work is visible in the teaser trailer in the "ampoule room","Space Jockey room" and some of the dark tunnel shots. They can be viewed in the slowed down version of the trailer previously posted:

everyone was voicing their opinion, thought i'd pitch in. even though i kinda jumped the gun on it, because i had no idea this had anything to do with the alien movies. the preview doesnt say anything about it. and i'm not a big fan of alien movies even though i did like the movies. but this movie now looks awesome lol

Even if Prometeus didn't tie into the Alien universe I would still want to see it for these reasons: Cast, director, and genre.

According to u, u DID watched the Alien series. Whether u like it or not, definitely its ur own opinion and I respect that. Yet u said u didnt noticed that this movie is tied to the Alien series after watching the teaser. Cant you see the HUGE ASS Jockey ship which was in Alien in the Prometheus teaser? Shouldn't it ring some bells to you? That is the most obvious element in the movie which definitely tells us it ties to the Alien series/universe.
