Could people possibly use spoilers when discussion the plot?

H.R Giger has been talking to Swiss newspapers about his work on Prometheus. The following quote is from Blick:

“Giger potters days and nights, especially in his studio in Zurich on his latest creatures. “It is huge. I can not tell what I’m doing exactly, is “strictly regulated by a contract, he gives few words. Transpired, however, is that “Prometheus” in the “Alien” will play universe. “

This would seem to go against a previous report that Giger is only working in an advisory capacity. Another report states that the Prometheus budget is 230 million. Thanks to Darkoo and Alien Prequel News.

There is no plot just speculation.

This is what FOX says its about:

Quote:
The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life's ultimate mystery.
[Show spoiler] the more I read the FOX quorte the more I think the inial synopsis was dead nuts on.

How many Fassbender movies have you seen? After watching First Class I decided to revisit nearly all of his earlier works, while he was decent in them he wasn't nearly as fantastic as when he played Erik. I wasn't really surprised that I hadn't remembered him from so many of his other movies I'd seen. I couldn't believe that was the same guy. Crazy...

i thought his performance in Hunger was far more impressive, as great as he was as Magneto.

That much? I'm a big Ridley Scott fan but that's way to much money for something from the mind of Damon Lindelof.

I cannot imagine the budget can be anywhere near that. That's more then the billion dollar franchises cost to make.

It was originally rumored to be two movies...I know Scott and Fox we're fighting on the budget for a while and it almost got the movie shelved...So that's probably an old number. Still would love to see this spawn a sequel if it turns out well.

If the sets are a huge and expansive as they say they are, and the creature effects are practical, I could see 90 million sinking away.

yeah 90 i could see, even 100 is realistic. but 230? no way, not an R-rated sci-fi/horror movie.
