Due to an error on the part of Google Play I was able to install Privilege 4K [1.0.9].apk on my 75" Sony 850C (and then register the app). It has about five IMAX Enhanced five minute clips which look very good. Anyway I extracted the apk and installed it on my two other 850Cs. The apk is a bit less the eight megs in size. I just uploaded it to APKMirror, but they have not made it available yet. If anyone wants the apk before it is up on APKMirror I probably can email it to you if you send me a PM.

I wonder if it would be possible to 'replicate' as close as possible the video settings on sets that are not imax enhanced certified. its a bummer this is not widely available.

What were the clips? Could you spot any differences between these clips and any other 4K clips?

They were the first five minutes of some IMAX movie releases. It was four movies not five as I first thought. So far APKmirror still has not put the file up, but anyone that wants it I can email it to you if you send me a PM.

I thought only Sony and Paramount were going to be first studios with Imax Enhanced titles? Given that IMAX has say over what content they can and would commercially release, I'd be VERY surprised if Warner's and Disney are hiding in the wings, the latter can hardly commit to Dolby Vision on disc form. The mention that IMAX holds the reigns and distribution rights of 'Infinity War' (1.90 AR version) not Disney was a revelation.

Owners of Sony IMAX Enhanced TVs are now able to download the Privilege 4K Movies app that delivers streaming IMAX Enhanced content to home viewers. The rollout of the app began earlier this week.

Concurrent to the app rollout, Sony has a special where anyone who purchases a qualifying TV (XBR-55A9F, XBR-65A9F, XBR-65Z9F or XBR-75Z9F) between 4/29/2019 and 5/30/2019 gets a free IMAX Enhanced movie on Privilege 4K.

Downloaded the Privilege 4K app last night. I watched the Galapagos clip and it looked really good, as did the IMAX info trailer. My processor is IMAX Enhanced but because I never use the tv's internal apps I don't have arc connected. So I had to listen to the audio thru the tv speakers. Maybe this weekend I'll hook up arc and give a proper listen.

I really think this has flopped before it started. Another DSP mode that isn’t needed. Instead of this mode studios should be included theatrical mixes with the near field mix.

Wabo, is your tv Imax enhanced capable too ? im trying to find a work around on this since mine is not, not sure if that app can run on roku or apple tv yet.
