If your older tv has the X1E processor, regardless if it's on Sony's official IMAX list or not, you can still download the Privilege 4K app and enjoy the IMAX Enhancement. AFAIK the app is only available for download via Sony tv's. It's free, so why not? Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

I downloaded the app and gave it a try, it works fine on the Z9D I can’t wait to try with some movies too. Now too bad audio on the app going Back to the receiver was only pcm since the Z9D is just ARC and not eARC compatible.

I download the app also on my Z9D. The preview clips are some of the best streaming quality I've seen yet.

The Atmos demo disc had Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and the 4K UHD when released didn't have it.

I be more worried about the DNR observed in his comparison instead of making it HDR10+ vs DV. Shouldn’t see detail removed to make a video better.
