Superbit II: Mastered in 4K BD - Let’s see if we can sucker them into buying the title on BD again, before they realize it’s not an actual 4K disc

Superbit III: IMAX Enhanced 4K UHD - How else will we get people to buy a UHD again?

Well, if it actually sounds better, I’d buy them. But not if they crop everything to 16:9.

Yeah, I have. Hower; I did spot the line at the end of the press release though. Maybe caused by the lack of interest and the cold start of IMAX Enhanced.

No problems at all my friend. I always find your posts informative and helpful and understand the total lack of interest in IMAX Enhanced. It is about as relevant as DTS-X Audio on new releases

It doesn’t matter. IMAX Enhanced for display only criteria is 65” and larger size, 4K, WCG and HDR.

Xperi asked me whether I’m going to review it, I told them I’ll only do physical media and I will not support streaming.

Being I have a 2.35.1 CIH setup...I could really care less about this! Just like I hate changing aspect ratios on 4K blu-rays. I’d rather they give you one or the other!

Me too. Choose one AR and stick with it. I don’t care if the screen is a triangle, just don’t keep changing it.

Disney+, Vudu, Apple, Netflix, Amazon all support Dolby Vision + Atmos.

If they got round to releasing Alpha UHD and 3D versions on disc I’d buy them both and not even mind paying twice more at all. Why don’t these companies want my money?
