Not just the eye, the waves made it look like 2 nostrils and a mouth. Like that of a girl in the water --> Ponyo. I'm not saying that's what it is, just what it reminded me of after Scottie mentioned Nausicaa

They'll probably just re-release all the Ghibli blus with no other change besides replacing the dubtitles with subtitles.

I doubt it. Criterion lost rights to all the Merchant Ivory films because things went sour between them.

In all seriousness, The New World, The Brood, and The Fisher King were the only ones that I picked out right off the bat. This is a difficult cartoon.

I hope that The Big Clock and One, Two, Three are both signified by the clock.

I also hope that Night and the City figures into the equation. (or While the City Sleeps)

I saw La Vie En Rose at the theater, and it's a bummer of a movie, but it's also quite brilliant.

It's one of the greatest performances I'v ever seen.
If it was another film than "Beauty and the Beast" (wishful thinking, lol), I would hope it would be that one.

Although I would be curious why the rose looks exactly like the one from Beauty and the Beast. It has the same curve!!
It could have been drawn in another way to avoid confusion.
And those 4 spots around it? Doesn't it seem like it's glowing?
I mean why someone would put some random spots?
