Lit the Right One Inn ... get it? Okay, I'll be quiet now.
That fits quite well, and would solve the whole two popsicle thing too, which In Cold Blood doesn't. Perhaps a double clue

Where does Right and One come from?

I'm not a fan of the film In Cold Blood but I think that's what the clue hints at:

Inn - the vacancy sign
Cold- the popsicle
Blood - the blood popsicle

There are two popsicles, he's only holding the right one. I think "lit" for "let" works too because they really are highlighting fact that the sign is all lit up, which isnt really neccesary if the sign is only there for "Inn". The Vacancy sign alone would key everyone im to it being a hotel, or inn.

Plus of course the vampire being there, which is a stronger clue for LtROI. We do know In Cold Blood is coming, so I think it could be both.

I thought it was one of the most brilliant depictions of a notorious event in the annals of American Crime. The beautiful B&W cinematography particularly during the crime scenes made it the more harrowing.

The Vampire is holding two popsicles. He's about to eat ONE of them. The one on his RIGHT.

As I've said before in this thread, I am a huge fan of In Cold Blood. I think it is hands-down the best film of 1967, and I can't wait for it to receive the Criterion treatment, so if that turns out to be the solution to the clue, I'll be thrilled. I'm just playing around with ideas ...

But one thing that puzzles me about the solution being In Cold Blood, is the idea of the popsicle being a "blood popsicle". That reference comes directly from Only Lovers Left Alive. Without our knowledge of that film, how would we associate the idea of a popsicle with the word 'blood"?

Personally, I'm going to be pleased with either of the three titles we've come up with so far ...

P.S. "Lime Light". Indeed.

I don't understand how the drawing suggests a blood popsicle.
It's not in color.

or did you mean how the "cold blood" came from popsicle alone?
Blood is suggested by the vampire.

A lot of my most requested films have received blu-rays or will get them in 2016.

What release, currently not on blu-ray in any region preferably, would knock your socks off if they received the Criterion treatment?

For me it's:

-Universal Marx Brothers films + A Night at the Opera
-Anything from Woody Allen (Deconstructing Harry would be great!)

well,
Death in Venice (since you said no Bluray release worldwide).

but I'd prefer:
Cyrano (1990)
Indochine
Raise the Red Lantern
Farewell my Concubine
(which already have releases worldwide either with no English subtitles [first 3], or with not very good transfer [4th one])

Also The Last Emperor 4K restoration in OAR and 2D.
I know the film has many Bluray releases, but this version does not! (except the 3D one)

My problem with the adaptation was the film's lack of establishing small town America like the book does so well.

A nice big box of Naruse films on blu with English subtitles.

A set of the 3 Kurosawa scripted films produced after he died (After The Rain, Dora-heita, and The Sea Was Watching).

A Kill Bill complete set, with the Japanese version of 1 and The Whole Bloody Affair.
Or maybe going back to Michael Bay and finally bringing us Bad Boys 2
