I got mine and also sent in my Howard's End blu-ray for bronzing issues. Hoping I might get the credit that others said they received for this as well.

I've got a Monsoon Wedding disc I need to send for this problem too, I did get replacements for Summer Hours and Stagecoach, but I don't remember it being a $10 credit for this, I think it was bad enough for them to have to repress and send all those replacements discs already.

To be fair to Universal, he wanted to spend like $150M to make it. That means it would have needed to take in what? Almost half a billion dollars just to break even?

That's a pretty tall order for an R-rated horror movie to begin with let alone Del Toro does Lovecraft.

Don't feel bad, I still haven't sent in White or Carlos and that's been how many years now?

I don't know what makes you assume that they got Warner. It is well known that Badlands is a special one of a kind case, where Warner were forced to license it out from direct involvement of the director. Twilight Time's release of Heaven and Earth happened due to similar circumstances. Those are the only two cases I know of Warner licensing out their films. I'm not sure about this one, which is also a Warner movie:

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Revol...Blu-ray/38843/

In any case, instances of Warner movies being released by a studio that isn't Warner/Archive can be counted on your fingers. I hope that I'm wrong and that Criterion and Warner will have a partnership.
Jonathan Turell mentioned in that interview that they were doing THE IN-LAWS, which is a Warner Brothers title.

I recently purhcased The Trilogy of Life blu-ray set and on the "Arabian Knights" disc, the protective layer is peeled very slightly on one corner. It looks as if it didn't fully adhere to the disc. Did anybody else have this problem? The disc plays fine but I sent off an e-mail to Mulvaney anyway.

Not really. It was part of a catalog currently owned by Westchester Films. At one time, Warner happened to have distribution rights to that catalog. They don't any longer. Other Criterion titles that are part of the same catalog are Red River and To Be or Not to Be.

Nice...I feel better now! Procrastination can be a killer though..

I did send in my White and Carlos discs for replacements and can you believe I still have not gotten around to watching Carlos yet, after all these years. I guess the running length time has got me intimidated but people say it goes by fast, eh?

Same here. Well, as far as the glitchy titles go, I haven't sent in my Kagemusha, but I also haven't sent in my White yet.

No hard dates, but based on the pattern of the previous fall flash sales, tomorrow or the following Tueday seem very likely. The credit makes me lean toward tomorrow, for no reason in particular other than timing.

That would be a great way to make people mad, for those who used it already without knowing there might be a flash sale soon, although by this time I guess it is a pretty well known pattern, it would be their own fault for not knowing better.

I love that menu! I could just leave that on for hours and be transported into David Lynch's brain.

I guess you meant Stagecoach, not Red River
