Do you guys have much luck selling Criterion's on here? I have about 5-6 titles Im wanting to sell but have been kind of leary.

Plus Ive asked five different people about titles they are selling and havent received any responses back in four/five days. I realize everyones busy with the holidays but just curious how selling/buying works on here.

well one movie I've wanted forever on blu is The Flight of the Phoenix.
Looks like that could be one of the clues in the New Years drawing. Anybody agree?
the bird in the background?
plus, Valley of the Dolls seems to be implied by another image.
definitely needed on bd a long time ago.
so excited for these bds if true.
EDIT: Apparently there is a new movie named Phoenix, so apparently that is the bd the clue is referring to.
of all the luck.
gutted.

You hit it on the head. "Squid and the Whale" and "Three Kings" are two of them. I was hoping the clock meant "After Hours", but I'm sure it's "Chimes at Midnight", which I will also pick up.

Naked Island in the far right top corner.

Could it be Bringing Up Baby? (Man with carriage)

Man, I hope they aren't re-releasing "Dr. Strangelove", as it already has a great BD release. I've been willing to pick up some of the Criterion re-releases, but that would be ridiculous. That looks like Warren Beatty from "McCabe and Mrs Miller" pushing Lone Wolf with Cub trailing alongside.

I hope you're right about McCabe and Mrs. Miller! That would be too cool.

I think that the original Dr. Strangelove release might be OOP since it's only available from 3rd party sellers at Amazon.

See? You're always so good at figuring out these clues! I hope you're right!

Someone on the Criterion website suggested that the honey pot near the grandfather clock could represent The Honey Pot. The two clues that really have me stumped are the planet with the stars on it and the ring around it, and the saxophone player. It's like I recognize the latter, but can't quite get my brain to hone in on why it's so familiar.

If it helps, it looks like he's dressed like a boxer.

Maybe it's Here Comes Mr. Jordan (wasn't Robert Montgomery a boxer who played a saxophone?)

I know that many people are hoping that it is Three Kings, but since I own that already, I am hoping that it means Kings of the Road.

Someone on Criterion's site called out Kings of the Road (Wenders). The Kings are very detailed. I swear I've seen them before.

Also, The Story of the Last Chrysanthemums has been mentioned somewhere, new restoration.

I am hoping that it refers to Russ Meyer's Beyond the Valley of the Dolls with screenplay by Roger Ebert.
