Eek, the $16.27 (give or take a couple pennies) shipped I paid back in '18 seems like quite the bargain compared to that racket.

It's also one of TT's more loaded releases (thought I haven't gotten around to the extras yet.) Exquisite summer movie, but I wish they had filmed it in the fall...autumnal Camden, Maine surely has to be its own brand of ravishing.

It even made it to (and sold out during) the 2020 liquidation sale. I picked it up for $11!

Assuming you meant they played Pink Flamingos on TCM, was it the same as the Blu, the DVD, the laserdisc, or the OG tape? They all had differences, mainly the soundtrack.

The Vincent Price movies would probably popular be picks, but I think Criterion would probably go with something like Little Shop of Horrors or The Terror.

I have a very hard to find one to recommend: Raintree County. Very soapy, Liz Taylor plays a nutty woman from the South who has a one-night stand with Montgomery Clift. Clift is about to marry his high school sweetheart Eva Marie Saint, but then Liz gets pregnant so he marries her instead. He then finds out she’s insane, she flees south of the Mason Dixon Line just as the Civil War starts, and the Clift has to join the Union army to go south and find her.

Probably in my top 5 most wanted Blu-rays right now.

For whatever reason to even print an OOP title’s booklet or cover is not allowed, but they sent me some laserdisc paperwork once maybe 4 years ago.
