Interesting that The Shrouds is getting a Criterion release and not one of those from the contemporary label. Has anyone seen the Shrouds and any thoughts? I didn't like Crimes of the Future and just wondering if this is similar to that or not?

Especially excited for the two Cronenberg’s. Wish The Shrouds was a 4k though.

It's coming from the "Criterion Premieres" line. There's no spine.

Nice call!

Interested in the Nightmare Alley 4k only release. Seems like Del Toro only wants his work now on 4K.

Might actually dipped again and get the new Altered States. Amazing cover and features looks good.

A History of Violence has a weird cover. Depends on how good this version looks before I dip again.

Absolutely getting the Shrouds though.

It is mentioned still as being a Criterion Premieres selection.

Splendid month. AHOV will finally be free of that old, heavily flawed Blu-ray. Shame about the cover art, though.

Patiently waiting for a better release of Altered States paid off beautifully, too.

Interesting that the description gives preference to the B&W cut over colour.

When did they gain the rights? As the talk of them gaining it in 2019 was debunked.

I also think DOG DAY AFTERNOON will be coming from Criterion soon, speaking of Lumet.
Dog Day Afternoon has a Park Circus theatrical reissue next month (no mention of a new master), but Film Forum lists a 4K DCP.

It's probably an obligation from Disney because The Shape of Water and Wall-E are also 4K combo-only releases.

Great month, I'll be picking up the Cronenbergs, Eyes 4K, FWWM 4K, and Altered States 4K for sure.
