For the first time ever I'm pre-ordering more then one title in a month. Even though I already own the Region B release of Eraserhead, I would pre-order it because there is a chance the master used for the Criterion release maybe better then the one used on the Region B one. Plus the extras look appealing.

As for Polanski's Macbeth. For me it's still the best cinematic adaptation of a Shakespearean play (I know that's full hardy to say this) However, even though I'm overjoyed that Macbeth is finally getting the attention, I'm still annoyed that The Tenant hasn't made its way onto Criterions catalogue. That film, like Macbeth needs the blu ray treatment.

Still two titles in one month is not bad, and the extras on Macbeth sound great.

I will be holding on to my BFI BD of The Innocents if only for HD version of The Bespoke Overcoat. I see that the Criterion edition does not include this.

Well I was expecting the Innocents for October..I wonder what they have for the Halloween month ? The Brood ? Interesting.. two movies for October that I will get easily ! The other being Eraserhead

Agreed. It's interesting how Polanski exorcised his demons regarding his wife's murder with this film, down to mirroring several deaths in this film with the circumstances of the real-life murders.

I'm very happy to finally be getting Eraserhead. Ali: Fear Eats The Soul is a huge surprise, but a really nice one considering All That Heaven Allows was just released.

Not me. All 5 films are superb.

Although I was expecting Tootsie by now. Perhaps for December.

Maybe they are saving Don't Look Now and The Brood for Halloween.

Usually its meh for me most months but this month actually TWO titles of interest for me.. The Innoncents is a fantastic film.. I wonder how this will differ than the BFI release, especially PQ wise

Eraserhead - Not a fan of it.
Macbeth - Never seen. I'll have a look at it at some point.
The Innocents - I have the BFI blu, if this improves drastically in P/Q and extras I'll double dip.
Sundays and Cybele - Never seen, but it has my attention.
Ali: Fear Eats the Soul - never seen, doesn't really interest me at this time.
