Some people want to be "insiders" and if they don't have industry connections they might latch onto a rumor that they think is 100% certain. If the rumor pans out then they become an "insider".

You can use them all at once as long as they are from different promotions. For instance, if you have a promo code for using the Criterion Channel and then your friend also gives you their code for using the channel, I don’t believe those will stack.

Confirming this is accurate. Tried it and didn't work.

May want to check to see if those $10 off coupons are still good. I have one from a CC email and it expired.

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure it always says in the e-mails that the coupons don't expire. I haven't encountered an expired coupon; I was able to use the coupon in a second order.

Edit: This is what it says in the last $10 off coupon I got for being a Criterion Channel subscriber (so I don't know that it applies to other coupons not related to the streaming platform):

"Your code won’t expire, so you can use it today or save it for an upcoming flash sale, but you can only use one February 2021 gift certificate per order."

I would say no, not likely. Scream Factory released it 2 years ago, and I doubt their license has run out already. Besides, movies showing up on the Criterion Channel is not really an indication that there will be a disc release by Criterion at all.

My uncle works at Criterion and said that all those titles are coming in January, alongside Citizen Kane 8K (this will also only have a K on the cover), the full versions of 'The Magnificent Ambersons' and Erich von Stroheim's 'Greed', Tod Browning's 'Freaks' and 'London After Midnight', James Cameron's 'True Lies' and 'The Abyss', and a 4K boxset of Peter Jackson's early films.

I've got my code working when I realized it's not a promo code but a gift certificate.
