Yeah, but A24 makes the final decision on who releases their films. Lionsgate has nothing to do with the Criterion. Apparently it's pretty hard to get anything licensed from Lionsgate.

I'm with you on Hausu. For a couple of years every time I decided to buy it from the B&N or Criterion's Flash Sales it was oos. So this past July when I saw Hausu was available during the B&N sale it went straight into my cart, then added Kuroneko for the two-fer. I already had the MOC Onibaba so didn't have to worry about that one, otherwise it would have been my flash sale purchase, which is also a title every time I wanted it, it was oos...(see below) Quote:
My flash sale purchase ended up being the one I always complain about as oos when I make up my mind to order it: ![]() Now I only need Short Cuts to complete the Robert Altman BD releases so far from Criterion. Last edited by tatterdemalion; 10-22-2021 at 03:47 AM. |

Here is the confirmation from 2 people who receive the press releases/sell sheets who have confirmed that Lionsgate is listed as the primary licensor: https://criterionforum.org/forum/vie...736143#p736143.
I don't know what point you're trying to make or if you're just too stubborn to admit that you could be wrong but please stop trying to spread misinformation. Last edited by yoloswegmaster420; 10-22-2021 at 01:02 PM. |

They love you and hate you! That first order probably had something go out of stock by the time the warehouse received the order. Happens a lot. The website and the warehouse stock are not synced in real time. Bit of lag there.
