Janus logo was shown at the beginning of 'The Return of Godzilla' at a screening, as well as a notice being sent out from Janus saying that they have the rights to 'Godzilla vs. Biollante'.

FWIW they replaced mine free of charge. I originally bought the Varda set at Barnes and Noble last year. I took it back to exchange it at barnes and noble and they opened another set for me (the last one they had) and that set had a ripped sleeve. I then wrote Criterion.
I think the wait at Criterion was a couple months (it was the height of the pandemic) but it arrived in perfect condition. I can’t praise Criterion highly enough, they are wonderful to deal with.

To answer the burning question as to what color the 4K/Blu Combo sticker criterion will be using can be found here.

You base your decision as to whether to upgrade a title on the cover art on the piece of paper sipped in a plastic case and not on the actual PQ/AQ of the movie itself?!?

Hardly. I almost couldn't care less about the case art. It sits in my movie closet until I take it out to watch it.

To be fair, gbm82 isn't basing it on the paper, he's basing it on the color of the 4K/Blu-ray STICKER. I think we all understand where he's coming from!

The plot thickens, and it's only getting worse.

Yes, it's sad to have waited so long for Criterion to embrace 4K releases, only to drop the ball with the choice of sticker color.

Yeah, it looks like they are now shrink wrapping from right to left instead of the old way...

I continued with my next of Fellini tonight with La Strada. This is the first one I thought was excellent, except for the ending. I hated the ending, which sort of ruined the movie for me. But most of the movie was great.

I fell in love with Giulietta Masina as Gelsomina. Not in a romantic way, but I loved the character and she was just fantastic. Her smile just made me want to smile. And it did. Often.

I'm going to continue this journey making my way through the Fellini collection. I'm hopeful that I'll enjoy the others just as much.

As I'm following Criterion on Instagram I saw they posted a clip of Bad Girls Go To Hell, which sadly is not on BD nor really on DVD. There is a listing on here about a two-fer, but no release date. Wiki (I know, not reliable) mentions there was a release on DVD a few years back by Image apparently - can someone kindly confirm if that is out of print, as there is only one listed on the sites I checked ('zon) for hundreds of $$$.

AGFA is supposedly coming out with a Wishman boxset... perhaps a joint release with criterion?!

Criterion hasn't shown their hand early this month. Keeping an eye on several pages for updates.
