You’d actually be really surprised how many people have bought the Japanese BD because, as has been said in this thread frequently the past week, Criterion is slow to release things. Sharing the same region coding with us makes it an incredibly appealing physical option. Having a foreign language on the cover, back and spine doesn’t bother people who want to see a film bad enough or owning a film bad enough.

Ooh this is a good one. A title that's truly deserving of entering the Collection, more so than the famous evergreen classics they've been adding as of late.

I’m not hip to the youth’s slang but is this denigrating the likes of Citizen Kane & Double Indemnity?

Cotizen Kane is a classic, and I will not allow its name to be besmirched!

Wow, changing my post to make it look like I don’t proof read my own posts and so ignore misspellings! For shame!

You're lucky, because I'm Not gonna be an "John Ford 1935 film starring Victor McLaglen" about it.

Ditto. I saw it a few weeks ago (I was the only person at the screening, so it was nice), and wow. 100% worth seeing in a theatre. What a film.

I suspect most people loudly demanding Lepr 4 in 4K really would be the people I would expect to massacre their whole family

I would recommend Beoning and the short films A Girl She is 100% and Attack on a Bakery.

Its been a week so I was starting to wonder where my order was, usually it comes quicker. Turns out, it made it to Norfolk, VA (I'm a bit north of that in VA so that makes sense) on Friday. But then it made a huge U-turn down to Puerto Rico??? Now it's in Maine and headed back South apparently. Great stuff, USPS.

Brian Trenchard-Smith helmed easily the two best Leprechaun movies (3 and 4). BTS is the king of taking movies that could be absolute shit and making them highly entertaining. The Tom Jane-John Cusack movie "Drive Hard", which BTS directed, is one of the better idiotic DTV throwaway flicks in recent years.
